 Second Homes First knows the joy of arriving at a beautiful clean home. Nothing will put a bigger damper on your hard earned time away than having to spend your first day cleaning. We are happy to help out with our following services:
- General cleaning - We can clean your entire home on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. This includes dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, emptying waste bins and general tidying up.
- Spring Clean - After a winter of little to no use a home needs a special clean to be ready for the summer. For our Spring Clean service, we go through each room in detail, moving the furniture to dust and vacuum, clean the blinds and the windows on the inside. In the kitchen we scrub and disinfect the countertops and sink, and defrost the deep freeze and clean the interior of the refrigerator. In the bathroom we thoroughly clean the toilets, sinks and bathtubs.
- Fall Wrap Clean - A summer of use in a home can leave a trail of dirt to be removed. In our Fall Wrap service, we do much the same as we do for the Spring Clean making sure that things are properly stowed for the winter. Additionally, we shut off outside water lines and drain, empty fountains and clean and bring in docks and stow.
- Bathroom Deep Clean - All bathrooms need a deep clean once in a while, especially after heavy use. In our deep clean service nothing is left untouched. Toilets, basins and bathtubs are scrubbed and disinfected, faucets and showerheads polished, tile grout scrubbed, lights cleaned, floors scrubbed, interior windows and blinds cleaned, mirrors gleam and closets and medicine cabinets emptied and cleaned.
- Kitchen Deep Clean - Whether you are a gourmet cook or not, kitchens have a habit of building up dirt, eventually attracting mice or worse. Our deep clean service is thorough and comprehensive. First we remove all contents of all cupboards and clean the interiors. Pots and pans are scrubbed and cutlery and crockery washed prior to replacing in cupboards. Refrigerators and stoves are moved and floors and walls there are cleaned. Refrigerator coils are cleaned to make it more efficient. Deepfreeze is defrosted and wiped clean as is the refrigerator. Stove top and interior is thoroughly cleaned. Backsplashes are degreased and cleaned. Floors and countertops are scrubbed and disinfected. Light fixtures are cleaned. Finally interior windows and blinds are cleaned.
